CHOLINESTERASE INHIBITORS AND MEMANTINE IN VASCULAR DEMENTIA

editorial comment
A meta-analysis by Kavirajan & Schneider on the evidence for the efficacy and tolerability of CIs and memantine in vascular dementia demonstrated “small benefits” in cognition in mild to moderate stages. The analysis will need to be used in conjunction with the review article by Bocti, Black & Frank published as one of the CCCD background documents.
