SERGE G. GAUTHIER, MD, FRCPC, received his medical degree from the University of Montreal in 1973. Following post-graduate studies in neurology at McGill University, he obtained certification in neurology for Quebec and Canada in 1977 and for the USA in 1983. From 1977 to 1985 he was on the attending staff at the Montreal Neurological Institute, and from 1986 to 1997, he was Director of the McGill Centre for Studies in Aging. He currently holds a Research Chair of the MRC/PMAC Health Program, and is Professor in the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery, Psychiatry and Medicine at McGill University.
NATHAN HERRMANN, MD, FRCPC, obtained his Doctorate of Medicine Degree from the University of Toronto in 1983 and completed the Psychiatry Residency Program at the University of Toronto in 1988. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and heads the University’s Division of Geriatric Psychiatry. He is a Staff Psychiatrist and Head of the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry at Sunnybrook & Women’s College Health Sciences Centre and is cross-appointed as Professor in the Department of Medicine in the Division of Clinical Pharmacology.
